The attendance line is available 24 hours a day. Please leave your student's name, date of the absence, reason for the absence and your relationship to the student on the recording.

You may also call the main office to report an absence. All students are required to be signed in and out in the main office when arriving late or leaving the building for appointments and early dismissals.

We appreciate you completing the pre-arranged absence form in advance for any absence in excess of 2 days.

In order for the absence to be excused, the student must meet one or more of the following conditions:

1. Is in good academic standing
2. Has no unexcused absences
3. Has four or fewer excused absences in a trimester and/or seven or fewer in a school year.

Your child will be allowed to make-up the work they have missed. Please be sure to notify the teacher well in advance and arrange for make-up work that can be completed during absence.

Pre-Arranged Absence Form

The importance of regular, daily school attendance as a basis for academic achievement cannot be overemphasized. Attendance is a shared responsibility of the student, the families and the school.

It is the family’s responsibility to ensure their student attends school and to notify the school when their student is absent for a legitimate reason, such as an illness or family emergency. Each family should also ensure their student’s school has their correct contact information so that the school is able to communicate about any attendance issues that may arise.
